JUICE: GET TO THE JUICER

JUICE: GET TO THE JUICER

In autumn, the body needs all the help it can get

It takes time, admittedly, but it’s worth investing this time in your well-being

The autumnal vicious circle

As soon as the pleasant stroll of summer is over, the marathon sprint suddenly begins, both professionally and privately. Whether it’s about sales figures or volunteering, everywhere you go you have to step it up a notch.

In addition, there is less sun and light, which often leads to less exercise and the pressure to get everything done by the end of the year – including topics that have been lying dormant at the bottom of our to-do list for years.

In hectic times, there is a great danger of skimping on healthy food and eating what is readily available.

In addition, there are encounters with people everywhere who have already caught a cold and think they can’t stay at home. The reasons: See above.

Juice is a piece of life force

Fresh juices help the body in many ways to get through the strenuous fall: With minerals, vitamins, fiber and time. Because yes, it takes time to get a juicer thoroughly clean again. But sometimes it helps to turn your thoughts from complex things to simple issues and take a breath.

If there is no juicer in the kitchen, it’s not worth going past the places where fresh juices are freshly squeezed to order. Because time is also an issue here: the quicker a juice is drunk after it has been made, the better.

The Greens

Green juices are polarizing. Some swear by them, others find them unpalatable. There are also strong supporters and opposing voices at GloriousMe.

Most green juices contain raw spinach and chard. As both taste delicious when cooked, but need flavor support when raw, the following mixture is usually added to the juicer:

  • Spinach
  • Swiss chard
  • Pineapple
  • Mint
  • Ginger
  • Lime
  • Apple

The Reds

Beet usually provides the color in these juices. Earthy and delicious in the following combination:

  • Beet
  • Cucumber
  • Apple
  • Fennel
  • Celery
  • Ginger

It takes time to buy the fruit and vegetables, peel them, juice them and then clean the juicer again.

But with every sip of these delicious juices, you already have the feeling that you are doing something good for your skin, hair and gut.

Is there a short cut?

You can find so-called shots in well-stocked stores: Good for the body, but often produced long in advance, so it is worth looking at the packaging to see whether you are buying health with preservatives.

It is possible to make the contents of many shots yourself, but it is generally more time-consuming than making juice from fruit and vegetables.

Salma Hayek and many others swear by the following hot shot:

  • Orange
  • Turmeric
  • Ginger
  • Cayenne

It doesn’t always have to be liquid

If you don’t like celeriac in juice, we recommend a delicious celeriac salad to enjoy the goodness of nature from a plate instead of a jar.

The ingredients:

  • Celery stalks
  • Fennel
  • Walnuts
  • Sheep’s cheese
  • Flat leaf parsley
  • Lemon juice
  • Maldon salt
  • Pepper
  • Vinegar and oil

Get through the fall safely.
