Of course, a series of so-called altar candles, wide candle stumps that do without candlesticks, also create atmosphere in the room. Arrangements of these wide candles in abundance have been seen everywhere for some years now: In many cafés and restaurants and in every hotel advertisement for Valentine’s Day.
Time to switch to more elegant candlesticks. This has the advantage that higher quality candles, for example made from beeswax, can be lit every day without burning out the credit card.
